The range

1-phase Solid State Relays for PCB-mounting
Compact RP series and RAP series. RAP types with LED indication.
RP1 series is available in zero switching and instant-on switching. Suitable for switching resistive and inductive loads. Thanks to the multirange-control voltage relays with fixed control voltage are no longer needed.
1-phase Solid State Relays in industrial housing for panel mounting.
Zero switching and instant-on switching types up to 110 A, types with low electromagnetic emission, series RA 24..L, types with alarm output for signalling of circuit failures (system monitoring)

New: RS, RM series moulding-mass free Solid State Relays. RS types responding to the wide spectrum of lower current applications like heating, medical, food processing, office and domestic equipment. RM types with high switching performance and frequency for inductive, capacitive and resistive loads.
Main applications are motor switching, control of HVAC systems, plastic and packaging machines. LED indication and IP20 protection cover are standard.
RS/RM allow IP protected connection of cables with ring terminals up to 16mm2

Compact 1-phase SOLITRON Mini for DIN-rail mounting and load currents up to 20 A.
22,5 mm wide ready-to-use Solid State Relays in zero switching and instant-on switching versions. Available with contactor or standard SSR terminal layouts.
1- and 3 phase SOLITRON with front integrated heatsink for DIN-rail mounting for load currents up to 63 A.
Standard types, types with low electromagnetic emission, alarm output for signalling of circuit failures (system monitoring), analogue full cycle switching for stress-free switching of heating elements. Economic 3-phase 2-pole switching for heating applications, start of motors and other inductive loads.
3-phase Solid State Relays for panel mounting
Zero switching types, prepared for overtemperature protection. Pilot duty switch available as option. In a hybrid function together with an electromechanical relay no heatsink is needed.

Motor Controllers

The range

The range of motor controllers from Carlo Gavazzi comprises a number of high- performance motor controllers for soft start/stop, dynamic brake and reverse enabling the user to respond to differentiated application requirements.

Soft start/stop motor controllers for 1-phase capacitor run induction motors with nominal load currents up to 12 A. Torque reduction by ramping of a single phase in 3-phase applications is also possible, types RSE 11, 23, 40.

Soft start/stop motor controllers for 3-phase squirrel cage motors with nominal load currents up to 12 A, types RSE 22, 40, 48, 60.

Soft start/stop motor controllers for 3-phase squirrel cage motors with nominal load currents up to 25 A, types RSE 22-C, 40-C, 48-C, 60-C.

Soft start/stop motor controllers for 3-phase induction motors, type RSC-HD/RSO.

Motor reversing Solid State Relays for 3-phase induction motors up to 3 kW, type
RR2I/RTO.

Motor Controllers for dynamic braking of 3-phase induction motors with braking current up to 60 A, type RTC 40 HD.

Transformer Switching

The range

Transformer soft starter TSE6 for single phase transformers up to 63 A nominal current. As compact version up to 16 A with internal thyristor and bypass relay or as control unit in combination with external thyristors or semiconductor relays with bypass contactor for high currents (>16A).

Starting of transformers causes high starting current inrushes which lead to premature wear of the mechanical contacts.

TSE6 allows wear-free switching of transformers by eliminating the inrush current. Transformers can be reduced in size and weight.
