Quadrature Sensor Ring Kits
The advanced Quadrature Sensor Kit that gives you both speed and direction. Accurately.


Quadrature design measures both motor shaft speed and direction.
Pre-gapped and adjusted at CONTREX. No phase or mechanical adjustment is required.
Simply attach to your motor, hook up the wiring, and go. Very easy installation.
Eliminates the need for special brackets and couplers.
Unique design of sensor insert (not cylindrical, like others) creates a fixed sensor gap, providing more accurate readings.
Square-cut design of gear teeth provides a greater measure of accuracy than rounded spur gears.
Provides 60 pulses per revolution. So each gear tooth is 6º resolution of the total pulse rotation.
Teamed up with an intelligent controller (CONTREX CX-1010, or other smart receivers) can interpret 240 edges or 1.5º resolution.
Sizes range from 56C to 254TC and 71D Metric.
Complete Quadrature Sensor Kit includes: flange ring, sensor, 60 tooth gear, junction box, electrical caps, wiring, bolts.

The ContrexHost Suite of Windows® application programs is available to assist you with the setup and operation of your CONTREX motion control products. ContrexHost 3 supports the full line of CONTREX M-Series, ML-Series, MLP-Series, MB-Series and CX-Series products. New and enhanced features make this latest version of ContrexHost more versatile yet easier to use.


Universal Applications

Network Builder is used to configure ContrexHost with the CONTREX control products connected to your RS485/422 serial communications network. The new Auto Configure features queries your network to identify product models and software revisions.


Control Monitor is the primary ContrexHost module used to setup your CONTREX control products to meet your application requirements and monitor system performance. Select from numerous predefined parameter windows or create your own custom window.


Parameter File Editor is available to create and save product parameter files. Default and downloaded files can be modified as required to meet your installation requirements. Backup your programmed controls using the file save feature.




CX-Series Applications


PLC Programmer provides an alternative method of programming the embedded PLC controller in the CX-Series products. Both the active and default versions of the PLC program can be retrieved for modification.


Custom Units Editor allows you to enter and activate the custom engineering units used to describe the primary display parameter on the Status Screen.


Utilities


Database Editor is available to assist with the maintenance of the CONTREX control product parameter database. Custom software versions of CONTREX control products can be made compliant with ContrexHost through simple database modifications.


Serial Link Debugger
can assist you with troubleshooting problems with your RS485/422 serial communications link. This software utility allows for the entry and monitoring of character records transmitted on your serial link.
